The Science Club was founded on August 11, 1974. Since its inception, it has relied on its own experience, which stemmed from the Kuwaiti environment and Kuwaiti youth's ability to give and innovate. Its ambition has never stopped, and it continues to innovate and develop to achieve more promising accomplishments to satisfy the thirst for knowledge and learning. This edifice remains a vibrant forum and a vital platform for creativity and innovation.
The Science Club is at the forefront of national institutions that combine numerous scientific, qualifying, and training roles that support and advance the nation's goals of improving the capabilities of Kuwaiti youth and providing them with the knowledge, skills, and scientific activities it has established and consolidated throughout its history. The club's results and fruits have always been young people who have assumed leadership positions in the country.
The club's development, both in its ideology and programs, keeps pace with global scientific and technological progress and advancement. Its Board of Directors has worked to develop the work within this national institution. Its departments, divisions, workshops, activities, and events have been structured and divided into three main sectors: the Youth and Science Sector, the Specialized Sciences Sector, and the Development and Competitive Programs Sector.
