Under the slogan "The Dream Come True," His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah inaugurated the Al-Ajari Astronomical Museum on August 5, 2013, in the presence of numerous sheikhs, journalists, media professionals, public figures, and those interested in astronomy and space sciences.
Naming the museum after Dr. Saleh Al-Ajari is an initiative by the Scientific Club to repay, even if only a small part of, the generosity of this great scientist, and in appreciation and honor of his contributions to the nation and his rich astronomical and scientific history at the local, regional, Arab, and international levels.
The museum contains several artifacts contributed by Dr. Al-Ajari and members of the Astronomy Department. It houses the first telescope Al-Ajari used for astronomical observations, a library containing his most important works, a Muslim Scholars Corner, a rare ancient astronomical instruments corner, and a corner dedicated to telescopes of all types. In addition, there is a Space Corner and a giant 3D solar system corner. Other artifacts inside the museum include actual meteorites falling from outer space, and a special section for astronomical photographs taken by members of the Astronomy Department from the skies over Kuwait.

FAQ

This is the first item's accordion body. It is shown by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It's also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.
